About Kültürakt

Kültürakt is an independent production and consultancy platform working across culture, the arts and the creative industries, with a focus on idea development, project design, cultural strategy, accessibility, capacity building and impact-driven programming.

It transforms creative ideas into feasible project models, develops original concepts and content programmes, structures project processes and creates collaboration models between actors from different sectors.

Its work goes beyond producing individual events. Kültürakt focuses on developing replicable and sustainable systems that strengthen the capacity of cultural ecosystems while responding to local contexts.

For Kültürakt, developing a project is not simply about delivering an event. It means understanding the need, bringing together the right stakeholders, establishing a workable system and ensuring that the resulting impact can continue over time.

Access, Participation & Social Impact

Kültürakt considers participation in cultural life a fundamental right.

In its arts and cultural projects, it takes into account physical, economic, social, geographical, digital and communication-based barriers to access, and develops models that strengthen the participation of people with different needs in cultural production and experience.

Accessibility is not limited to spatial arrangements. It is addressed throughout the entire project process, from content design and communication language to programme flow and digital access.

Kültürakt develops inclusive methods that enable children, young people, older adults, disabled people, vulnerable communities and groups with limited access to cultural opportunities to participate more fully in cultural life.

For Kültürakt, social impact is not merely an outcome measured at the end of a project; it is an objective designed from the outset.

Creators, Professionals & the Ecosystem

Kültürakt believes that the sustainability of the cultural ecosystem is directly connected to the production capacity of artists, creative professionals and cultural managers.

It designs training, mentoring, expert matching, networking, production and professional development opportunities for artists, emerging creatives and cultural professionals.

By supporting new relationships between local governments, universities, civil society organisations, cultural institutions, creative enterprises and the private sector, Kültürakt brings together the knowledge, experience and resources of different actors through collaborative projects.

The aim is not to create one-off connections, but to build sustainable cultural ecosystems in which knowledge, production and opportunities can circulate.

Our Principles

Inclusivity — We consider the participation of people with different needs and circumstances in cultural life.

Participation — Wherever possible, we design projects not only for target groups, but together with them.

Local Relevance — We take into account the cultural, social and institutional dynamics of each project’s geography.

Collaboration — We bring together different disciplines, institutions and professionals through collaborative production models.

Transparency — We value clarity regarding responsibilities, resources and working methods throughout project processes.

Sustainability & Impact — Rather than focusing on one-off outcomes, we aim to develop models that can continue over time and generate measurable impact.
